I’ve spent a lot of time listening to people talk about their adventures with love- finding it, keeping it, and losing it all in the same breath. Sounds like a broken record some times but we do our best, right?
I think we all go in blind hoping only for the best and sometimes that turns into heartache, lies and a lot of crazy shit we never expected to be a part of. I’d love to be the first to tell you that things will work out or it will all get better, but what do I know?
I figure the best I can do is have you share your story and hope someone else out there can relate and feel better that they are not alone in this. I hope you can join me by sharing your story and help give those of us struggling to get by a little bit of hope!

As I officially embark into my 40s, I am excited to be fulfilling a life long dream of mine. I never anticipated it would take so long to get back to this but here I am! Ready to soak up all the opportunities coming my way and excited about where this is going to take me.
We’re gonna keep it real. All of these stories are yours, your version of what you know happened and the way it’s changed you and your own idea of how you see love. I know from experience, I’ve had my own ideas and perceptions of love. As I get older (and wiser) I realize so much of what I knew and believed has changed. The vulnerability you’ll see and feel will find you relating on all kinds of levels.
A few things about me…
I am a 40ish Latina with immigrant parents that are from Mexico. I was born and raised in Texas and now live in Denver, Colorado.
I have never been married and do not have children, that I know of 😉
I have never had a boyfriend and yet have enjoyed the occasional one night stand, with a few booty calls here and there. A girl’s got to do what a girl’s got to do, so don’t judge.
I love burgers, chocolate milk, and anything potato.
I can walk for days! I’m a beginner yogi and currently my favorite position is Savasana and Cobra position is my second favorite. I regularly meditate and I’m up to 3 minutes of silence in my head but end up falling asleep after 5 minutes of actual meditating. Anyone else?
I’ve climbed Pikes Peak twice. Only 14er I’ve ever climbed so far and even though I’ll never do it again I’ll probably climb other bad ass mountains if the occasion arises. I’m a sucker for an outdoor adventure and will try it but can’t say I’ll like it!
My favorite word is fuck or motherfucker depending on the situation.
